Beautiful purple, no blaze but 2-3 short white lines at base of midrib.

PERPETUAL EMOTION (Helsley 2009)
Well branched stems present ruffled multicolor flowers. The standards are lavender orchid; wide style arms are pale blue orchid with turquoise midribs. Colorful falls are lavender orchid with wide rosy violet edges. Large signals are creamy white becoming yellow in the throat. Lots of color in one flower.

RAINDROP MELODY (Schafer/Sacks 2003)
Violet raindrop pattern. Standards have a periwinkle ground with violet dappling and veining and a wide deeper rim. Falls have a white ground with a blue violet wash and darker dapples and freckles, heaviest at edge. Ruffled.

Calvin considers this the best flower he has developed! Wide, ruffled, overlapping flower parts are a unique magenta-rose-orchid with startling large signals of neon blue. The standards also have a neon blue streak on the lower portion of the midrib. Nicely branched stems have a good bud count.

SADIE MAE (Helsley 2011)
Named for another pet of the hybridizer (see MY BUBBA). Sadie Mae was a spunky brindle-colored bulldog. This iris carries the "brindle" coloring being medium blue heavily mottled light blue. The small signal is white to gold in the throat. Style arms are light blue with turquoise midribs.
